- I'm originally from Wallingford, Connecticut and received my Associate and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University located in Providence, Rhode Island. I love all aspects of baking and pastry, but wedding cakes are my ultimate passion. My husband is also in the pastry industry. One day, we hope to have our own pastry shop to bake beautiful-- and delicious-- creations together. My profile photo is not me, unfortunately. That is Baumkuchen, our cat. We named her such, as I'm sure in a previous life she was an almond and apricot flavored German cake.
